Homily for Friday, April 15th, 2022 - Good Friday

A caution to our listeners: Today’s Bible reading comes from John’s gospel and describes Jesus’ last hours, and ultimately his crucifixion.  

Quite frankly, as someone familiar with the story, i find it disturbing and often hard to listen to.  It raises some difficult questions that are best asked in conversation - with the text, with history, and with each other. (John 18:1-19:42 )
