Homily for Sunday, May 19th, 2024 - Pentecost Sunday

Today we celebrate Pentecost Sunday - often considered the Birthday of the Christian Church.   There’s an old saying about parenthood that the days are long, but the years are short.   It serves as a reminder that when children come into our lives, we are given a front row seat to watching a whole new person, and a whole new generation being born and eventually grow into maturity.  Come and take a listen as we consider what it means to grow in maturity in the Christian faith.  (Acts 2:1-21)
