Before listening we want to caution our listeners. Today’s Bible reading comes from John’s gospel and describes Jesus’ last hours, and ultimately his crucifixion.
Quite frankly, as someone familiar with the story, i find it disturbing and often hard to listen to. It raises some difficult questions that are best asked in conversation - with the text, with history, and with each other. (John 18 & 19)
